My TOP 3 fave appliances from Signature Kitchen Suite

You know me — I love a great appliance! Something that is both functional and beautiful, designed to make everyday life feel easier AND a bit more glamorous. Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to learn all about a new line of luxury kitchen appliances with my fellow Designhounds. I love connecting with other designers, so this was simply the best mix of innovation, wine and inspiration!

Let’s take a step back. Product education is incredibly important to me. Part of serving our clients is understanding what they need and finding the best possible solution. That’s the job - effortlessly combining function and aesthetic.

I walked into this week-long excursion to Napa Valley, Calif., with little knowledge of the Signature Kitchen Suite brand, started by LG, but let’s just say … I’m a FAN! I had a great time and I especially enjoy learning about and working with brands that care. This trip was filled with great energy with an emphasis on education and experience.

Top 3 Faves: Kitchen Appliance Edition

Kitchens are a core part of our portfolio, so this product suite resonated and three products in particular really stood out when I think about what I look for when designing a kitchen space. LG is known for innovation and works quietly behind-the-scenes of many major brands. These appliance faves speak to that innovation and add something to the kitchen space. Without further ado … here are the three appliances I’m loving!!

1. 30-inch Combi Wall Oven

Combining LG’s steam technology with the convenience of convection cooking, this wall oven is all about ease of use and style. The 30-inch Combi Wall Oven lets you forgo the preheating which feels like a huge time-savings when everyone is hangry and speeds up the process of preparing dinner. The steam-assisted convection replicates the sous vide cooking style and all of its benefits, but with the larger capacity of a traditional oven. For those who want healthy and flavorful family meals … this is a big win!

2. 48-inch Dual-Fuel Pro Range

This is one of the only brands to combine gas, induction and sous vide, and I’m here for it. The versatile cooking experience is all about more – more speed, more technology and more flavor! This is truly an all-in-one range, offering a professional cooking experience in the comfort of your own home. If you can’t decide what features you want and need, this range has everything and more to transform your cooking. While I may not cook much (or at all), I know A LOT about kitchen appliances and this is a find.

3. 48-inch Built-In French Door Refrigerator

I’m partial to a column fridge. I like symmetry in my kitchen design and of course, the flexibility to give my clients exactly what they want and need. This 48-inch built-in French door option checks all the boxes. The size provides ample room for all the food, but the best feature … four drawers that offer loads of storage and flexibility too. The two drawers on the left provide ample freezer space. The top right is a dual ice maker, with TWO types of ice. And the bottom right is a flex drawer. Yes, you heard that right. It can be whatever you need it to be. Did you stock up on meat for a weekend BBQ? In need of extra wine storage? Whatever the event, set the temperature accordingly and you’re good to go.

And last but certainly not least, the symmetrical design speaks to my heart. If you can relate, keep this one in mind. It’s available in late 2022.

At the end of the day, our goal is to design for the way families actually live their everyday lives and use their spaces. Aesthetic is on top of that … an assured outcome when you focus on function and quality. I love when brands understand this — when their products help solve everyday design problems to provide the function and aesthetic our clients desire.

I feel fortunate to have been included in this experience, to grow personal connections and learn more about a brand that truly cares. The personal attention and emphasis on details were exactly what I strive to provide my clients. I’m grateful to Modenus Media and of course, Designhounds for including me.
